CampusRide

At the University of Ghana, every trip across campus adds up. A lone ride runs GHS 15–25, and for students counting every cedi, that's a real cost. CampusRide is a ride-hailing app with emphasis on ride-sharing, built for Ghanaian campuses, starting at UG Legon: students share a ride for a flat GHS 5. Cheaper for students, and more lucrative for drivers. CampusRide launched June 1, 2026, at campusride.app. In its first week, with zero marketing spend, it recorded 2,000+ registered users and 600+ ride requests — demand that outpaced our driver supply. That's the problem V2 solves: rebuilt with Moolre as its backbone, relaunching soon with the driver network to match, and heading to the Play Store and App Store. Every leg of the ride runs on Moolre — all four APIs: Moolre SMS — OTP login and ride-status alerts that reach any phone, no data plan required. Moolre USSD (*919*4007#) — full ride booking for the 60% of Ghanaians who transact without a smartphone, in line with Moolre's vision. Moolre Collections — in-app MoMo payment across every network. Moolre Disbursements — daily payouts to driver wallets after CampusRide's commission is deducted. The vision goes beyond campus. Ghana has a trotro shortage, and the cars to solve it are already on the road. CampusRide is building toward a shared-mobility layer where any verified car owner heading in a direction can pick up riders going the same way and earn — digitizing the trotro culture, not competing with Bolt or Uber.
