FurrCity is a digital marketplace that connects pet owners with licensed veterinarians, groomers, trainers, boarding facilities and daycare providers across Ghana. The platform makes it easy to discover, compare and book professional pet care services, giving pet owners a convenient and reliable way to access quality care for their pets. The platform offers features such as provider profiles, online appointment booking, secure digital payments, pet profiles, booking history and notifications. Service providers also benefit from a dedicated dashboard to manage appointments, customer information, service offerings and bookings. FurrCity goes beyond bookings by helping pet owners become better caregivers. After every completed appointment, providers can share personalised reports, care tips and professional recommendations that are stored in the pet's profile for future reference. The platform is also expanding its educational offering with expert-written articles and online courses, empowering pet owners with trusted knowledge on pet health, nutrition, training and overall wellbeing. The app is built on Moolre to securely handle Collections, Disbursements and Messaging. The Collections API enables secure Mobile Money and bank payments during checkout, while the Bulk Disbursements API automates payouts to pet care providers, reducing manual payment processes and improving operational efficiency. Messages are sent to both pet care providers and pet owners via email, sms and/or WhatsApp. By digitising Ghana's pet care industry, we improve access to trusted pet services while helping providers grow their businesses through technology. The platform aims to create a more connected, transparent and efficient pet care ecosystem that benefits pet owners, service providers and the broader community.
