EventConnect is an all-in-one event management and social engagement platform that helps organizers create, promote, and manage events while enabling attendees to discover events, purchase tickets, participate in contests and voting, and interact through a built-in social community. The platform combines event discovery, secure ticketing, digital check-in, social feeds, group discussions, polls, and contest management into a single ecosystem. Organizers can manage registrations, monitor ticket sales, analyze event performance, and engage their audience before, during, and after an event. Our goal is to make discovering, organizing, and experiencing events easier for students, businesses, organizations, and communities across Ghana, with plans to expand internationally. EventConnect is being developed with a Django backend, PostgreSQL database, and modern web and mobile technologies to deliver a scalable, secure, and user-friendly experience.
